Hiring supervisors take strong consideration of each application received. ARF receives a large volume of submissions and is unable to personally contact each applicant.
After reviewing qualifications, the hiring supervisor may contact an applicant to schedule an interview. A working interview may be necessary to determine if an applicant possesses the necessary skills. Please be advised that an interview is not a guarantee of employment.
ARF is open seven days a week. Some departments work weekday business hours, while others have varied schedules. If an employee accepts a position working directly with animals, holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis.
Positions working directly with animals require physical work including bending and lifting, and exposure to animal waste. Detailed requirements for each position can be found in the individual job descriptions.
