Azul – 2 years old, 18 lbs, Petaluma.

Azul is 2 1/2 and was listed as a Chihuahua mix when we adopted her. Azul is a beautiful white and gray dog with light eyes. She currently lives in a very lively household with two young kids (1 & 3). We have never had any issues with our children. Azul loves to play with them, has never nipped or anything and they crawl all over her. However, Azul is a very anxious dog. She barks a lot at any new person entering our home. She has never been aggressive, but she can come across that way because of the barking. When in reality she is afraid and unsure. These issues have made it very hard on our family. We live in a busy neighborhood across from a high school so it’s hard to have Azul in the yard with the commotion she causes. She is very difficult to walk on a leash. Prior to adopting Azul we planned on signing her up for some classes but I became pregnant with my second and our financial situation changed drastically. With how busy our lives are right now we are unable to give Azul the life she really deserves and on top of that we are moving to a location that we are not allowed any pets. She is a wonderful dog, very loyal, loves to play catch and is fully house broken.
